Children’s Garden maintains a wait list, by age, which it uses for enrollment outreach. There is no charge to families to be put on this waitlist and a call to the office is all that is necessary (at 970-476-1420).  We truly enjoy giving tours of our school to interested parents and their children. Tours are available daily, by appointment. These generally start at 9:45am and last anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Please call 970-476-1420 so we can arrange to show you our incredible school. 

Incoming toddlers (aged 20-32 months):  Incoming Toddlers must be 20 months by June 1st of any given year. Enrollment outreach begins in the January prior to the start of the new school year in June. Letters are mailed to all toddler waitlist families, asking if they are interested in the upcoming year and the days they would like their toddler to attend CGL. Admission is based on a variety of factors, including length of time on the waitlist, whether the child is a sibling of a past or current student, and where the family lives and works. This last variable applies because our building is owned by the Town of Vail and if there are more applicants than openings, priority is given to those families who live and/or work within the town limits. Letters of acceptance are mailed at the end of February.

Incoming preschoolers (aged 3-pre-k):  Enrollment outreach is based on what spaces become available after our current students have completed their re-enrollment process for the upcoming year. In late February, letters are mailed to all preschool waitlist families, and acceptance letters are mailed by the end of April.

The Children’s Garden of Learning is committed to being a school where children of differing race, sex, religion, and abilities are welcomed. To the children who attend CGL, we teach tolerance and understanding of these differences. In other words, CGL is an inclusive school.
